Hidden and Dangerous is a third person shooter game, but one that takes a more cerebral approach. If you charge in all guns blazing in this game, you won’t come back alive. Instead, you will need to carefully plan your assaults and coordinate your squad in order to achieve victory over the Nazis. Originally released on PC, the Dreamcast port works surprisingly well and armchair generals will certainly find the game engrossing.
Emulators tested
Demul 0.5.8.2 (DirectX 10) – Game says there are not enough free blocks on the memory card to save, even if you are using a completely blank virtual memory card. In game graphical glitches in the sky make the game difficult to play. Game crashes if you try to navigate around the map.
Demul 0.5.8.2 (DirectX 11) – Less graphical glitches than DirectX 10 mode, but game still crashes if you access the map and still has the save game problem.
Makaron T12.7 – Some minor graphical glitches in the game, nowhere near as bad as Demul in DirectX 10 mode. Game says there are not enough free blocks on the memory card to save, even if you are using a completely blank virtual memory card. Text in the map screen is not printed correctly, making it impossible to read. Otherwise the game plays well and is more playable in this emulator than Demul.
