Dreamcast owners seemed to love fishing games, or at least that’s the impression we get, since there are a higher percentage of fishing games on the console (as well as a dedicated controller) than any other console we can think of. Reel Fishing – Wild attempts to be a more realistic simulation of the sport than the more arcade-like Get Bass games.

Emulators tested

Demul 0.5.8.2 (DirectX 10) – Hangs on the SEGA start up screen.

Demul 0.5.8.2 (DirectX 11) – Title screen and in-game music seems glitchy and stuck in a two second loop. Minor glitches around the cursor that you use to select items in the log cabin. Fishing notebook (level select) has some glitches too. Not very playable with the constantly looping music.

Makaron T12.7 – Very similar problems to Demul – DirectX 11 mode.
